Basic Differences Between American BBQ and Korean BBQ Styles
The Korean culture, movies, TV series, music, and food have gained immense popularity, especially among the youth, in recent years. People love the distinct taste of the Korean cuisines as compared to the American cuisines. Korean BBQ has become an instant favorite with the modern generation. Barbecue or BBQ is the process of grilling any meat. The meat involved in this process can be chicken, port, or beef. American and Korean styles of BBQ
are drastically different in form, structure, taste, and flavor. The American
BBQ involves bigger pieces or larger cuts of the meat for grilling. The meat is
slowly cooked and later cut into pieces for serving. In the Korean style, the
meat is sliced thinly beforehand to ensure that the meat is cooked quickly. Korean
Barbecue Food can be prepared by the
diners on their table as the meat is neatly sliced and can be cooked easily in
no time. The sides that are provided with the American BBQ dishes are generally
sweet and creamy. On the other hand, the sides of the Korean BBQ dishes can be
sweet, salty, or even spicy.
